Watch party invitation

Villa Rules

The recoupling is watched in full silence, and the arguing starts the second it ends.

Watch party invitation: Hot pink satin card bordered with silver studs. A rhinestone flame in amber and orange rises from a ring of silver beads above studded capitals reading VILLA RULES, with the date and venue below.

Part of the TinselLux™ collection: invitations in stitched leather, tufted velvet, linen and satin.

The material is the card: linen with a visible weave, velvet with a nap, leather with its grain. It costs the same as every other invitation.

Watch party invitation for the household that has not missed an episode. People arrive before the drop, claim a cushion, and get a pink drink poured from the one pitcher on the counter. A tray of candles sits in the middle of the coffee table because the real fire pit is on the television. Phones go face down, not as a rule anyone announced, but because the first challenge starts and nobody wants to miss it.

The turn comes at the recoupling. The room goes quiet in a way it never does otherwise, and then the moment the last person steps forward it does not go quiet again for twenty minutes. Someone defends a choice nobody else in the room will defend. The prediction sheet on the fridge gets amended in a different colour of pen, and the group chat spends the rest of the night relitigating it.

What to actually tell people

  • Cast the sofa first Count the seats with a clean view of the screen before anyone arrives, and put a floor cushion where the armchair blocks the sightline. People will not move once the episode starts.
  • One person holds the remote Pauses are for the door and nothing else. Anyone who arrives late gets recapped at the ad break, not during a scene.
  • Food you can eat without looking down A grazing board with everything already cut, and one pitcher of something pink that pours in the dark. Nothing that needs a knife or a fork.
  • Post the predictions on the fridge Everyone names the couple they think survives the week before the opening credits, in pen. Settle it at the end of the episode so the argument has a finish line.
