Bachelorette party invitation

The Last Rodeo

The rhinestone fringe sheds one stone on the bar floor and stays on all night.

Bachelorette party invitation: Rose pink leather card edged with silver nailhead studs. A rhinestone fringe hangs from a silver bar at the top. Silver slab capitals read THE LAST RODEO, with plum lettering and an engraved silver plate below.

Part of the TinselLux™ collection: invitations in stitched leather, tufted velvet, linen and satin.

The material is the card: linen with a visible weave, velvet with a nap, leather with its grain. It costs the same as every other invitation.

A bachelorette party invitation like this one sets up a night in boots, in one room, with a band that is not taking a break. The bride is in the pink leather jacket with the studded seams and the fringe over the shoulders, and she does not take it off, including outside, including when the room gets warm. Everyone else has committed to some version of it: silver at the ears, a belt buckle borrowed from a father, boots bought on an afternoon off. The group walks four blocks past louder bars and chooses the one with the back booth.

The turn comes somewhere in the second set, when the band learns who the bride is and plays the song straight at her, and the whole table stands up for a chorus they only half know. After that it is fries, a round nobody tracked, and the slow argument about who is driving. The jacket goes back in the garment bag at the end of the night, one stone short.

What to actually tell people

  • Give the fringe a keeper Cup-chain sheds, usually on a dance floor, usually unnoticed. Put one person in charge of a safety pin and a flat pocket, and let the lost stones go.
  • Choose one room, not a crawl A strip of bars splits a group by the third doorway. Name a single lounge with a booth that holds everyone, and let people step outside and come back.
  • Tip before you ask A cover band takes requests off the jar on the stage lip. Hand the money over first, ask for one song, and do not hand up a list.
  • Flats in the back seat New boots do not survive four blocks of sidewalk and a concrete floor. Leave a pair in the car and tell everyone where the car is parked.
