Three initials go up on the high score board, and they stay there until closing.
This design has the Final Touch: the wording is stamped, stitched or foiled to match the artwork, so the card reads as one finished piece.
Start from it and your wording is painted in the same way, exactly as you type it.
What the Final Touch isThis birthday invitation imagines an afternoon spent entirely under neon, with a cup of tokens handed to every guest at the door and no plan beyond that. The skee-ball lane goes first because it is nearest. Air hockey holds the crowd longest. Somebody discovers the cabinet in the back corner that still takes quarters and refuses to leave it, and the tickets come out of the machines in one long paper rope that nobody is willing to carry.
Then the lights over the party table come on and the cake arrives: a stack of green-topped blocks with a single torch candle burning on the top one. The room is dark, so the candle does the work. After cake everyone goes back out with whatever tokens are left, and the last twenty minutes are spent at the prize counter, converting four thousand tickets into a rubber lizard and a pencil.

Extra lives: cake.
Every line of the wording is an example, and yours to replace. The title is painted into the artwork. Type your own and it is drawn again with your words.
What to actually tell people
- Buy the tokens in one transaction Split them into identical cups and hand one to each guest at the door. The cup is the budget, and when it is empty the answer is the prize counter.
- Rule on the tickets before the first game Either every guest keeps their own or the whole party pools them for one large prize. Decide at the door, because deciding at the counter takes forty minutes.
- The cake needs a dark corner and a flat table A block-stack cake with one torch candle only reads in low light, so ask for the party room rather than a table on the floor.
- Name the tie-breaker machine in advance Pick one cabinet, two players, best of three, and put the winner's initials on the high score board. Everything else is just tokens.
